Sean supposed that depended on what Danica meant by knowing Jai very well. "I've only just met him, but I like him. He's a good dancer." Jai was good at a number of things. For a moment, Sean let himself remember some of the things Jai was so good at before continuing. "He likes having fun, I don't think he worries about much. He's got a lot of tattoos."

"That sounds nice," Danica said. "The having fun and not worrying. I mean, there's nothing wrong with tattoos, I've seen pictures of him... and he dances, that's good. I'm a dancer. And a model. I'm trying to get into acting." And she was talking about herself. Who wanted to hear about that? "So you've seen him dance?"

Sean shook his head. "I danced with him," he said, grinning. "I bet he would dance with you, too. You're pretty enough for a rock star. But you model, so you know that." She had to know she was pretty with that kind of background. A dancing model who wanted to act, she definitely looked the part.

"Thanks," Danica said. "I haven't been modeling long, though. Just a few spreads in Witch Weekly Italia and some catalogs." She'd gotten a lot of offers for lingerie and nude shoots, but her mother had said definitely no to anything of the sort. She was legal now, but Victor Monroe's offer had been the best she'd gotten by far, and she'd jumped on it.

"That's impressive, though," Sean said. "I'm almost 21 and haven't had any job better than line cook." He was fully aware that his ink kept him from getting some better jobs, but he hadn't really been focused on career improvement over the past couple of years, anyway. Maybe this whole going to school thing would let him have better opportunities.
