Mari reached for a plate and a piece of pizza and took a bite before speaking, half covering his mouth with a hand. "'Cause he's gorgeous," he said, not particularly caring if it was awkward to say so in front of either of the brothers. "And he's had like, a ton longer to practice." They still had plenty of time to get good at that kind of thing.

Cat laughed at that as he put a bit of everything on his plate. "Just be yourself," he said. "People are attracted to confidence, not bravado. People can tell when you're being real." His brother was a poser, and though he tried to be charming, it was still fake. Not nearly as bad as a lot of people, and not consciously fake, but fake all the same. Cat figured Castiel would grow out of it in a year or two.

"I'm confident," Castiel said, casually not letting himself make eye contact with anyone as he said it. "And I know I'm good looking, too." He worked too hard at perfection to be anything less. Maybe girls were intimidated by him. His brother was all wild and free, but maybe people just thought he was a snob because he was an intellectual.

"You'll find someone else in no time," Mari said. "Don't worry about it, you're awesome." Even though he'd had his own fair share or popcorn at the movie, the pizza slice was lasted only a minute before he was loading his plate with other things. "So what are we doing? I heard there's a club, but I bet it's definitely not like the one in Hogsmeade."

"It's a Muggle club, you get your hand stamped on the way in so you can tell who's Muggle or not. Makes it easier to find other wizards that way." It was also the pass into the VIP lounge, but Cat wouldn't mention that. There was no way he was dragging his brother and Mari into the VIP. They'd go crazy and he wouldn't live it down.
"I don't know what you're hoping for, but I'm not buying you booze. It's a dance club, you dance."

"Not even some wine or something?" Castiel asked. "It's not like we'll get drunk or anything. We're practically adults." And they'd maybe had too much once before. That meant they knew their limits now or something. "Don't tell me all you drink when you go out is orange soda, because I'll know you're lying." His brother was way too cool not to get some kind of badass mixed drink.

"Yeah, definitely, and like, wouldn't you rather we learned with you instead of at some crazy party or something where we got sick and stuff?" Mari asked, grinning around a breadstick. He actually did doubt that Cat would do it, but it was fun to think about, and he'd like to learn a little bit more about the whole thing. "It's not like Hogwarts is all this is how you drink responsibly or anything."

Castiel nearly choked on a bite of pizza, and his eyes widened at Mari. If it wouldn't have given everything away he'd have smacked his friend for saying that. As it was, he had to reach for his drink and try not to look too suspicious. "They totally don't," he agreed when he'd caught his breath.

Cat easily saw through his brother's crappy attempt at being casual. Still, he didn't want to know, so he didn't ask. It looked like they'd gotten hold of something, but hadn't managed to get sick enough to regret it, if they were still that eager.
"Not at the club," he repeated. Maybe at his place later, where he could keep an eye on them.

Mari grinned again and nudged Castiel. "Okay, not at the club," he said, nodding in agreement. It would be a lot of fun to do some experimenting with Castiel's brother, who was super cool, anyway. This was probably going to be one of the best visits ever by the time they headed home.

Saren wasn't a stranger to the pizza place and he typically only did a cursory glance around the building when he came into the room. This time, however, his eyes caught on Caspian. The guy was, as usual, with others, who looked to be having a hell of a time, though it took another moment for him to recognize the other two sitting with him. Maybe he didn't need pizza, after all.

Cat glanced up when the door opened, then up again when he realized who'd just walked in. Crap. He looked back down at his plate and served himself another helping of wings and another slice of pizza. There wasn't a chance the douche would make it back out without one of the others noticing, so Cat caught his brother's eyes and gave a meaningful look.

Castiel had been smiling at Mari's nudge, but he didn't miss the look his brother had given him, and his gaze followed. His nose wrinkled, and he reached out a hand to grab Mari's. It wouldn't stop him when he caught on, but it might slow him down.
"I brought you something from Sterling Style," he said, forgetting the topic completely. "It's in my bag, so I'll give it to you later. Markise Sterling made it himself. We're like, practically friends." Or he'd spent as much time at the robe shop as possible when the guy was there, but they'd talked.

Mari's eyes widened and he looked over at Castiel. "Really? That's awesome, what is it?" Why would Castiel mention a gift just to say he couldn't have it yet? "You know, it's not nice to say you've got something for me, then say I can't have it yet." He dropped the food he had in his hand and turned toward Castiel, doing his best puppy dog eyes. "Give me a hint, please?"

Oh, the kid was horrible, how Caspian could take it, Saren would never know. He'd seen that he had been noticed, but hoped that he could be in and out before his brother knew he was there. It was more or less a fact that neither of the Catalysts would call him over. Thankfully, there was no line at the counter and he was able to walk straight up to it to give his order.
