They'd talked all the way here and only just paused in the living room long enough to drop off their coats. It wasn't that they had one-track minds or anything, but there was nothing wrong with a healthy appreciation for sex between consenting adults.
"Seriously though, a vampire?" Cat was saying. "Sounds like you've got it good."

Jai only grinned. He didn't have anything else to say about that. "You didn't tell me you lived on Billywig Boulevard," he said instead. "Are you sure you're not stalking me?" He took a look around the bedroom as he followed Cat in, and gave a low whistle.
"This is nice. When you said your mom cut you off, I expected a cardboard box with a warming charm. How often do you hit your head on that thing?" he asked, gesturing toward the mini-loft over the bed.

Cat laughed. "Only a couple times, I swear," he said. He'd been very drunk and very enthusiastic. It was high enough up that it wasn't a regular occurrence.
Cat turned and wrapped long-fingered hands around Jai's hips. "Ready to fight?" he teased. He let himself look at his friend again, at the map of tattoos that told stories he didn't know, at the familiar bow of his lips and the slightly harder edge of his jaw. So much had changed, but how much had stayed the same?

Jai answered with a hard kiss, and his own hands came up to hold Cat tightly into it. The face-to-face contact tipped his hat back, and it balanced a moment before falling to the floor. Yes, the fight, the letting loose of everything he'd ever held in had always amazed him. Even now he didn't expect to be disappointed.

Cat's brows drew together and his fingers firmed. He caught onto belt loops and pulled, turning them both to push Jai toward his bed and a wrestling match that didn't require balance. When they reached it, hands were rough on clothes, lips were rough on lips, and inked skin was revealed inch by inch. "Ah, you f~er, you've got more ink than me," Cat growled. They were fairly even on the front, but pinning Jai down revealed back art far more extensive than his own.

Jai laughed at the victory even as he pushed back, struggling to pin Cat. "Where's those tats you were hiding?" he asked. His hands worked at buckles even as his lips took a detour down Cat's neck. "I like this one," he murmured, pausing to give attention to the red and aqua design on his throat. "HA!" He picked up his head. "You're mine now, f~er." His eyes glittered as he slid down Cat's body.

"Holy—" Cat's expletive was cut off by a high noise of surprise that turned into much lower sounds of pleasure. He was half crazed before he got himself under control enough to take over again, to push Jai back and show him a thing or two. The battle went on until they were both exhausted, the bed was a mess, and clothes lay everywhere.
Cat pulled hard breaths as he collapsed back onto the bed. "F~ that was good," he said. He brought up his hands to run them over his face, then turned his head to look at Jai.

Jai was grinning, though his teeth were parted enough to let in the air he needed. "We should've done that in school," he said. He'd have figured things out a lot sooner, and damn, he could have used the stress relief. He panted, and the room swam a little, telling him he probably shouldn't have exerted himself so much today. It was so worth it, though. "F~, Cat," he said.

Cat laughed. "Remember that time in sixth year, we both came just making out," he said. "This was better!" He laughed again. So much better, but it was a tease anyway. At the time they'd thought that nothing could be better, as long as they both got off.
Cat took a deep breath and moved onto his side to see Jai better. "So where the f~ did you learn that, anyway? Your vampire give you lessons?" he teased.

Jai chuckled, but shook his head in lieu of answering. Whatever the answer, he wasn't about to go talking about it. The best he could do was talk about this, and them back in school. He turned his head to watch Cat watching him.
"I wish I'd come out sooner," he said. "I mean, you knew, but no one else did. I didn't tell my parents until I had my own place."

Cat's gaze lifted to meet Jai's. "Yeah? How'd that work out?" Jai's family was messed up, and they hadn't had any kind of money to speak of, just enough to send him to school. He looked back down now, and let himself reach out to trace some of the shapes he saw. Some of the writing was even written backwards, and that only made it more interesting. What was it that Jai needed to remind himself of so much?

Jai's nose wrinkled. "They hated it worse than magic," he said. He was sure sometimes that they'd only found the money for school because they hated cleaning up his magical accidents so badly. "They couldn't throw me out, though. Holidays suck, but they still invite me." And once in a while he actually accepted, more for Miralda than his parents.

"That blows," Cat said. "Hey, you ever want to ditch them, come home with me some time. Mom and Dad won't mind. Castiel will probably make you sign crap, though. Now that he's at Hogwarts, he thinks he's some big celebrity, wants proof of it." Jai had just been Jai for the years they'd been to school together, but with that appearance in the magazine, things had changed.

"I'll sign something for him," Jai said. He let himself look over Cat's tattoos as well, so much of it in black and yet to be colored. "He's at Hogwarts?" he repeated, and glanced up. "I'll have the guys sign some crap too, send it to him and Mari. They still a two-headed monster?"

Cat chuckled. "Yep," he said. "Castiel's only at Hogwarts because he talked Mom into letting him follow Mari there. Mom keeps sending me news about what he's doing, but it doesn't sound like much." Just sight-seeing and spending as much money as he could get his hands on. Cat wondered if his brother's inability to hold onto a Galleon had anything to do with his own recent cutbacks.
