Jai shook his head. "Nah, Dismas is awesome," he said. He set a bottle of soda down in front of Sean, then turned back to pour himself a glass of ice-cold milk. Finally he made his way around the kitchen island and sat down to eat. "We're kind of friends too. He's the one who got me hooked up with The Billywigs when they needed a singer." He'd more or less been pulled off the streets. He freaking loved living with Sunset.

"That's cool," Sean said, opening his soda and taking a long drink from it before finally picking up his sandwich. "You ever find someone willing to make me rich and famous, send me an owl." Not that he was entirely sure he really wanted to be rich and famous, there was still a lot he needed to figure out.

"Do you play anything?" Jai asked. "Sing?" He didn't know about bringing in some guy he'd slept with and asking if he could join them, but he kind of liked Sean, apart from the whole mind-blowing sex thing. "All I know is Dismas, and his thing is music." His thing for however many decades anyway.

Sean chuckled and shook his head. "Nah, never had the motivation to learn. Then I never had the time. It'd be fun to learn guitar or something, but it's a little late to get famous doing guitar," he said, shrugging. "I don't think I'm cut out for a band, anyway." He could settle for groupie.

"You'll just have to find me at the club sometime," Jai said. He'd met a few famous people, but didn't have enough pull with anyone to help anyone else out. Plus, he'd been warned about making offers to help. Apparently people liked to take I'll see what I can do as a guarantee of fame and riches.

"I'm looking forward to going to the club some," Sean said. "I don't have my old roommate to force being social on me anymore, so I've got to figure out how to do it on my own." So far, it had been a success, meeting both Jai and Cat so soon. He was definitely going to make it a point to visit the club when he could.

"What do you mean, figure it out?" Jai asked. And how did you force someone to be social? Why would anyone need forced? Jai could hardly process the idea of not wanting to be surrounded by people. He had conveniently forgotten how withdrawn he'd been in school. He'd wanted social contact then, he'd just been unsure of himself.

"I'm more of an introvert," Sean said. He wasn't sure how much of it was natural and how much was just due to circumstance. It wasn't like he didn't like people, he just wasn't all that good at it. "I mean, if you hadn't invited me to the club, it would have taken forever to get there, and then if Cat hadn't asked me to dance I probably wouldn't have offered, at least not without a few drinks."

Jai swallowed a drink of milk and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. "You def need to get out more. There's too much to do to sit at home, or worse, in a dorm room," he teased.

Sean grinned and shrugged. "Yeah, well, I'm getting a late start, but I'll get it figured out. The club helps." He was looking forward to the next time he went and found Cat there. It wasn't that he regretted choosing Jai, but he could be happy with his choice while still looking forward to someone else.
